ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Our Deerfield Beach store is fairly new, but the owner & head tailor, Rode Araujo, has been in the industry for over 40 years. She and her husband Gil have owned three textile businesses and one clothing manufacture in their home country of Brazil. In 2000, they made the big move to South Florida along with their family. In 2010 they moved to Massachusetts and opened a small tailoring & alterations business, but decided to move back to the Sunshine State in order to start their alteration shop once again; but this time away from the cold weather.

Her approach is traditional with a modern edge. She offers sensible advice and an authentic, high-quality level of workmanship. Her clients come away with a personalized level of service they don’t receive anywhere else. She is known for making the most impossible challenges possible.
